ELEANOR SCHULZE "NELL" CANNELLA

A dearly loved wife, mother and "Nan," she died surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at 11 a.m. at her residence in Zachary.

She was 58 and a native of Melville. She is survived by her husband, Paul James; three daughters, Paula Harrell and Tammy Armand and husband David, all of Zachary, and Melissa Reine and husband Kenneth of Rowlett, Texas; two sisters, Gertrude Jones and husband Clyde "Buddy" of Eunice and Mary Jane Schulze of New Orleans; six granddaughters, Kristen and Robyn Young, Brittney Brewer, Keighly and Allyson Armand and Mikayla Reine; a grandson, Corbin Reine; a sister-in-law, Genevieve Cannella; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Nell and Charles Paul Schulze.

Visiting was Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Zachary, from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday, celebrated by the Rev. Kenneth Laird.

Graveside service at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Melville, at 1 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Joseph.
